Moving

Husband and I are done moving all of our stuff over to our new apartment but have stacks and stacks of junk waiting to be sorted through. That is my excuse for not blogging, we have been moving. Oh, and Husband graduated from the University! Yay! (applause applause). No pictures yet, but they are coming. To make up my long absence, here is a picture of a wallet. Please admire...

I felt kind of weird leaving it so simple, but I had to remind myself that people actually like simple sometimes, so I let it be.

Sara's Wallet Part Deux

I made this for my friend. She wanted one much like the other one, but I made it with green fabric instead. I love how it turned out!

Last Chance!

Hey guys! Just so you know, I'm raising my prices to an average of $25.00 a wallet on Saturday. You can let your friends know or claim your stake on one. I am also willing to make custom ones for $20.00 each but the order has to be made before Friday. Email me if you want to take advantage of this and let your friends know. Because in all honesty, I am fully aware that only 3 people will read this unless you help me.

Thanks guys!
Go here to visit my Etsy shop and then email me at wing.britni@gmail.com.

For custom orders, let me know what colors you want and kind of the idea of the look you want. We can then collaborate from there and get the perfect wallet for you (or your friends) made.

IDAHO!

Husband and I went to Idaho on Friday and came back Saturday morning. It was lots of fun. We went to his cousin's wedding which was pretty cool because she's from Costa Rica so there was a lot of Spanish being spoken and it blew my freakin' mind.
Pretty huh?

The in-laws. Aren't they cute?
And finally, the happy couple cutting the cake. They are perfect for each other. Also, that beautiful wedding cake cost them $0.00. Some wonderful lady who used to decorate cakes professionally volunteered to make it for them. In fact, the whole reception was done by people who were kind enough to donate time and money into it. This world has some pretty amazing people if I do say so myself.

Overall, good experience, but dont tell anyone... I don't really care for Idaho. Nope, I don't think I would ever want to live there. (Family is what makes it awesome.)

Sneak Peak at my Vintage Collection

This is the first in a beginning series of wallets and stuff. This wallet is made from vintage linens (and the button is vintage too!) I think it turned out pretty good. I love the fabric and it was something different than what I normally do. Let me know what you think!

Cake Pops by Bakerella

I got this wonderful book at Target for 30% off! I was so excited I had to get started on making them as soon as possible.
I made these a while ago but I wanted to brag about them a little bit. The ones pictured above were the ones I made. Not bad for a first try, huh? (A little funny looking but still...) I gave some to my mom and she asked where I got them and, beaming with pride, I told her I made them.
This is what they were supposed to look like, but I think mine are better (not). I highly recommend the book to get inspiration for awesome baking ideas.
